Adenike Hamilton
Adenike (Niké) Hamilton is a dynamic storyteller and multimedia creator from Freetown, Sierra Leone, whose work spans documentary filmmaking, narrative change and experience curation.
With over a decade of experience in storytelling, Niké is the founder and creative director of 3rd Culture Kid Productions, a full-service production company focusing on non-fiction storytelling that centers women and environmental issues. Her films have been featured in the British Journal of Photography, Al Jazeera, Deutsche Welle and the International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights, among other platforms. Niké is dedicated to crafting powerful, authentic narratives that challenge perspectives and inspire change. She is an expert experience curator, having developed, produced, and hosted major events such as the Sierra Leone Environmental Film Summit, the 10th Africa Conference for Sexual Health and Rights, and the Circle of Us Film Festival.
A skilled workshop developer and facilitator, she previously worked with Purposeful and IRIS leading a transcontinental multimedia storytelling fellowship for young female activists in Sierra Leone, Kenya and Tanzania. Through this initiative, she trained young women in storytelling for movement-building and resistance while equipping them with hands-on skills in audiovisual production. Niké believes deeply in the power of human connection and storytelling as a catalyst for empathy, understanding and impact. Her commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices and addressing social justice issues through film and media has made her a force in the field of documentary filmmaking and narrative change.
