Elsie Anguzuzu
Elsie has spent the last decade advancing participatory and human rights-based approaches in research, advocacy and program management across Africa and global platforms.
Elsie has worked to translate strategies to impactful initiatives that center civil society strengthening, community building, youth leadership and cross sector partnerships. Her experience navigating varied political and social environments, Elsie has fostered collaborations across sectors that include government entities, private sector participants, multilateral organizations, and grassroots groups. Her approach is dynamic and both insightful and results-driven, merging systems thinking with actionable strategies to tackle intricate development issues. From managing initiatives in gender and climate justice for young women across Sub-Saharan Africa, to crafting advocacy strategies driven by youth, her efforts are focused on progressive outcomes for sustainable development for all.
Elsie holds a BA in Economics and Statistics, an MA in Diplomacy, Development and International Security and is currently a PhD scholar in Development Studies - Leadership and Governance.
